Warriors, If I had not heard it myself, I would not believe anyone would be this stupidly arrogant!!! To take credit for what God is doing . . . Any leader going up against God Himself, I pity them. We are warned that leaders are held to a higher standard (Prov. 16:12, 18. Dan. 4:32b, etc). Also, China reminds me of Egypt during the time of Moses, I pity their leaders, as well. Pray for our leaders who do righteously, gain favor and wisdom. God takes care of His own and those who take care of His own. Pray for those who do not do righteously, to have their power taken away. Blessings, D
DEAR FRIENDS,
During this week’s press conference (and in subsequent media appearances), while speaking of the reduction of COVID-19 cases in his state, New York’s Governor Anthony Cuomo commented:
“The number is down, because we brought the number down.God did not do that.Faith did not do that. Destiny did not do that… “
Dr. Brown issued this strong WARNING in response:

Consequences of Huricane Irma on mom and me.
Prayer Warriors, I have felt your prayers for weeks and I sure have needed them. I almost do not know where to begin. Almost two weeks before Irma, the Lord gave me a heads up to start preparing for it logistically. I was always a few days ahead of the rush, being able to purchase things prior to everyone else. Also, He began providing me “angels with skin” because my brother Art (who would have taken care of things) was with Him. The night of the hurricane, because we had no lights, mom fell. Because of the storm, we could not go to the ER until Weds. morning to get an x-ray, to make sure that she did not break anything. She had not, but she was in terrible pain. We went back to our dear friends who had opened up their home because our generator stopped working (we stayed without power for 10 days). However, that night we realized that something worse was going on with mom and therefore the ambulance had to come again to take her back to the ER. Long story short, they found that she was fighting a serious infection, her bladder and bowel were not working correctly, etc. We stayed in the hospital seven days (we should have stayed longer, but hind sight is 20/20). Because our neighbor’s shed hit our power lines, it not only pulled them from the poll it pulled them up from the house. FPL would not fix us until a paid electrician fixed it, they had to get a permit and then the county had to come out and ok the job (because I was with mom 24/7 at the hospital in a room with a bed for me), I had to do all the logistics from the hospital room. The hospital would not release mom until we had power. Mom was released too soon because they did not realize how serious her bowel problem was (she had not had a bowel movement for seven days). It took days for Home Health care to resolve the problem. Mom is on the mend but has a long ways to go. I will stop now, because this is getting long. Miracles upon miracles have taken place over these weeks. I will encourage you with them in emails to come. Surely, 1 Thess. 5:16-19 has been and is in play, we are at peace. Even in this, even in this. Blessings, D
Wow! Amazing news about the Bible.
Prayer Warriors, I just returned from one of the most encouraging summits that I have ever attended. Last week I met for the four day President’s Summit for Wycliffe Associates (not to be confused with the Wycliffe USA Translators). I was invited to meet with the leadership, in Bonita Springs, FL., with hundreds of other Christians from across the US. There, we heard of a new way of translating the entire Bible, into languages for people who have no scripture in their own tongue. For some translator groups, it takes 30 years and $2,000,000 to translate the Bible. In other groups it takes at least 10 years and $200,000. However, WA in the last two years, has perfected a way to do so in less than a year and $19,500. Not only to have the Bible translated (printed as well) but in the peoples’ hands. We saw how using this method, in just one session with 13 indigenous people (WA’s computer system and facilitators), had one half of the New Testament translated in TWO WEEKS. The Lord is preparing the world for something AMAZING! The system is called M.A.S.T., and if you go to their website you will understand what IT means. Blessings, D (P.S. Thank you for your prayers for me and the LTC conference that I did the weekend before. It went well, the Lord was honored and glorified. It touches my heart, when hearts are touched.)
A wonderfully worshipful Sunday.
Hi from Jerusalem. I had a wonderful Sunday service at the oldest church in the Middle East (full house). A special time of praise music, Bible reading, a message on the “Widow’s Mite,” and a traditional communion service. Then off lunch with a new friend, Sharon (she works with Family Research Council “FRC” and helped me connect with the tour group while they were here in Jerusalem). We went to a rooftop restaurant at the Notre Dame Hotel (for Catholic pilgrims). It has the best view of the Old and New parts of Jerusalem. Then I went to see the exhibit of the Shroud of Turon (exact copy) and great info. A wonderful time of remembering what Jesus did for us and how much it cost Him. The off the the Church were His tomb and Galgotha are located. Again, a time of remembering. Also, between Galgotha and the tomb there is a two foot high stone disk which marks the half way point between the two. This is called the Center of the Christian world. Israel being the center of the world, Jerusalem the center of Israel, and the disk our center. Then back to the Old Church for a service of music and a speaker from Holland (had to be tranlated) who is a Christian psycho-therapist. The jest of his message, “you need to forgive if you are ever to get rid of your shame.” I found out a couple days ago that where I am staying, sleeping, eating, and walking at Christ Church is right where King Herod’s palace gardens were located. They even have a cistern on the grounds that actually watered Herod’s plants (Divine appt even for where I am staying). Please pray that my phone begins working again so that I can call mom. Blessings, D
