Purpose

Biblical Heritage Institute believes that fulfilling the Great Commission depends upon a healthy Church not a sick one.  As the opportunities for the Church have never been greater, so the demands on the Church have never been greater.  B.H.I. Feels it has been called to minister to the whole body of Christ.

The Word of God and it’s practical application functions as our primary tool. as such, B.H.I. believes the Bible to be the final, absolute authority in our lives today.

The Scriptures provide the basic standard for every area of life. It’s system of ethics pertains to any culture and contemporary situation. B.H.I. believes Biblical counselors, therefore, possess an ethic for both right and wrong thinking and behavior.

B.H.I. is called to minister to the emotional, spiritual and physical needs of the Church through the strategic, yet practical use of the Word of God.

Most Christians have not yet begun to tap into their rightful heritage and the available resources, that God has given, to live victoriously in this troubled world.

B.H.I. sees the need to minister in the areas of marital, personal, emotional, situational, financial, and family communications through one on one counseling and coaching, academic and practical training.

B.H.I. believes that a personal, vital knowledge of Jesus Christ is essential to salvation and the foundation of all true Christian Counseling and Coaching.

The work of the Holy Spirit is an integral part of the methodology and philosophy of this ministry. The Holy Spirit works to effect change through a Christian’s new identity in Christ.
