The Lord gave me the perfect place for Art’s ashes..

Hi from Jerusalem. Tuesday morning I spoke with the manager of Christ Church about a place for Art’s ashes. I have been going everyday to a lovely. small, stone walled in “Prayer Garden,” (old trees, bright flowers, quiet and peaceful, with little places to sit and pray) attached to this Old Church (perfect). She gave me the permission to do so. I was able to spread his ashes around the garden. I am so at peace. I thanked the Lord and had communion there in “Art’s” garden. Talk about a kindness of the Lord and a Divine Appt., the day before I spread Art’s ashes, some of the Swedish youth group spent the entire day cleaning, weeding, and making the garden even more beautiful. Thank you for your prayers for the Lord’s leading. Had breakfast with the C.S. Lewis actor and his wife, found out we know a number of the same people (because of Campus Crusade for Christ). Later in the day, I went into the new part of Jerusalem (Christian bookstore) to buy some things for my “show and tell” when I get back home. While there, we started to hear police sirens (dozens) coming past us from everywhere. We found out that two Moslem boys stabbed a security officer not more than a block from us. One of the boys was shot and wounded but both were caught. This answers why, after calling the rental company about the trouble with my phone and them saying that they would deliver a new one to me from Tel Aviv, UNTIL they found out that I was staying in the Old City. They said that they were not allowed by their company to come here right now. However, I feel perfectly safe (but I also do not do anything stupid, either). This afternoon I was able to spend more than two hours having hot chocolate and speaking with one of the Christ Church ministries’ Board members who just “happened” to arrive from Canada, for their yearly Board meeting. They are here to discuss expanding their scope in Israel. I found out that they have hospitals, schools, technical works, guest houses around the country, etc. Really an amazing ministry. I have decided that part of BHI’s monthly tithe will help with this wonderful ministry. (So many Divine Appts. and Divine protection today.) Church bells are ringing all over the city, it 6:pm. Blessings. D

International Day of Prayer for Jerusalem

Shalom all, what a wonderful Sunday! I had a quiet and a much needed restful morning because I knew that I would be heading over to King of Kings church at 4:pm for their service. This churches location (a ten minute walk from my hotel) is in an auditorium, in an office building, where they also have a Prayer Tower (entire 14th Floor). You can literally see and pray over all of Jerusalem from there (amazing view of both the old and new city). I not only prayed over Jerusalem from the Tower, I also took communion. This is the church where the Prayer Service, on GodTV, was held later tonight. What a special time with fellow believers from all over the world (more Divine appointments) and a great story about where the Lord had me sit. 🙂 Blessings, D

Communion at the Wailing Wall

Shalom to all of you, today (seven hours ahead of you) was another amazing day! I was able to take communion seated right next to the Wailing Wall and spend over two and a half hours praying. The first hour for family, friends, associates, and heart needs. The second hour, I prayed at the same pre-arranged time with a wonderful group of prayer warriors, while they themselves were on a conference call originating from different parts of the US. They were praying for Israel from the “outside in” and i was praying from the “inside out”. (Those of you who have seen the “moving, Great Mennorah” here, well, it is on the move again!) 🙂 Blessings, D

Had communion in what is left of the Lord’s empty tomb.

Hi all, what a great day! I finally found the “Tme Elavator” that I was looking for yesterday (well worth it). I spent two hours at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and had communion in what is left of Christ’s empty tomb. Because I am staying in the Jewish area of the city of jerusalem and because Shabat starts tonight, the entire area ( including all stores and restaurants) start closing down around 1:pm. On my way back to the hotel, late this afternoon, it was almost like a ghost town. Just a heads up, Sunday is the International Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem. You can follow it on the web or cable GodTV (google for info). I plan on being at the Jerusalem church that is hosting it (another Divine appoinment, only a ten minute walk away from my hotel). World wide, 300,000 churches and 100,000,000 people are signed up to participate. Pierre, i just saw that Tony Perkins signed up for FRC. Blessings, D
